"Kerala calling" Feb 11th-12th 2017 With Road Thrill

It had been quite sometime that i rode with Road Thrill and then i get to know about this event #Keralacalling ride to Regina Silva resort which is in Paithalmala. Immediately without even thinking informed the team to block a stay for me. 

I was all excited for the ride after looking at the pictures on the event page that was created by them. Early morning as usual reached the starting point first and was waiting for the group to join.

Briefing was done and we started off the ride at 6am. We took the Virajpet route via Kannur highway, route was just amazing with super landscapes and lot of greenery on the way.

We had Breakfast at "Halli Manne" on the way and started to hit the curves of Kannur Highway, which was a narrow curves and my machine was butter smooth and making me to bend max on the curves.....reached the end of ghat and was waiting for the team to re-group.

 We reached near Regina Silva by 2pm and we had to do off roading for almost 7kms up the hill.

All were tired and the place was humid and hot to handle, so we all had lunch and hit the pool as soon as we reached the place.

 Sun was setting and the Party was on, we had few announcements and introductions of new joinee's to the community around the Bonfire.

Crazy

Night was on fire with Solomon songs going on for 3 hours almost non stop, awesome singer and a Guitarist. After few hours most of them were tired and went to bed after dinner....and the party was still going on.

Next day morning all got up and one by one getting ready to start the journey to return back, in the mean time we started some photography around this beautiful resort.

 We all geared up and started to heading down 7kms off roading towards the main road and got our luggage's on the bike and started to head back at around 11am.

 One the same way back, i could not hold to zoom into the ghats and to enjoy the ride on curves.

 We all reached back Bangalore by 8pm and dispersed back with lot of memories of this ride.

Ride was planned few days before and nothing as such was booked particularly, got the bike serviced and ready for the ride as usual...I don't get sleep the previous night of the ride because of the excitement.  Day 1- Morning 5:30am started the ride and headed towards Taj Vivanta as it was our start point to meet the other Rider's. Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Review

Riderboy's Journey for 2019 starts with Interceptor review after a long break.  After RE announced a motorcycle with a twin engine for the first time, I was very keen to test the machine. I finally got a chance to ride the Interceptor for about 200km. The look and feel of the bike is just amazing. I can describe it as a retro and simple looking machine with clean lines. It draws attention from everyone. As soon as I mounted on the bike, I felt very comfortable. The Interceptor felt like a machine that was created just for me. I started the engine and surprisingly it sounded like a Triumph Bonnie.  I decided to ride the Interceptor to Krishnagiri, which is about 100 kms from Bengaluru. The motorcycle engine felt like a well refined one and it was also very smooth without any vibrations.  This is how happy i was after riding the machine for 100 kms....  We must truly applaud RE’s effort for getting an amazing super bike with unbelievable pricing...

Ride for Passion and photography

Bangalore- Rameshwaram- Dhanushkodi- Kanyakumari- Munnar- Bangalore One week before the ride planned for a Solo trip as usual being a working class person wanted salary to hit the pockets to even start the trip. In the mean while i had a chat with my friend who was keen to join the ride and that became group ride with two of us, but not big numbers. We initially had discussed the plan to ride on the 2nd June 2016 to 5th June 2016{ Bengaluru- Valparai- Munnar- Thekkady- Periyar and Bengaluru}, all was ok and we decided to take tents and sleeping bags, not to book any accommodations anywhere in advance also. Day 1 {2-06-2016} Starting Point was at Jaguar showroom silk board at 5am and my friend had an hectic day previous day and had reached home late due to rains and was not prepared for the ride. I did give him a wake up call at 3:30am to make sure he reaches the start point on time. He reaches the start point at 7am and then we start our ride filled fuel for our bike...
